Day 3 - "A Week of Books" Giveaway!

In celebration of hitting (and surpassing!) 200 followers, I will be giving away a book a day through next Wednesday!

For those of you who follow me regularly, you know I have an obsession for decorating, crafting & organizing books.

Each day, I will be giving away one of my favorite books (I will choose the daily winner randomly each night at 11:00 pm)

You have 2 opportunities to win each day!
1. Become a follower of Finesse Your Nest and leave a comment (or if you are already a follower, just leave a comment.)
2.  Post about this giveaway on your blog and leave a comment here letting me know.

If you are the daily winner, be sure I have access to your email so I can notify you!

Congratulations again to yesterday's winner, Debbie of Love the Decor!

Today's book is a double feature!  That's right!  TWO BOOKS!

Both books are by women's home improvement guru, Barbara K (aka Barbara Kavovit).  In 1995, Barbara founded and was the chief executive of what was to become one of the largest female owned renovation and construction management companies in New York City.

After 10 years in the construction business, Barbara recognized the need for tools designed specifically for WOMEN.  From that inspiration came Barbara K!, a line of innovative, ergonomically designed home improvement tools. Every product came with a how-to booklet, that laid out in simple terms how to use the tool or kit as well as how to complete basic home improvement projects.
She runs a successful blog dedicated to home improvement.
She's also published several books, 2 of which are being given away today!
The first, Room for Improvement, is an inspirational home improvement guide that empowers women to change their homes and their lives.  In the book, you will find directions on how to fix just about anything from repairing a hole in the wall to fixing a leaky faucet.  She shares wonderful DIY projects that are a fun and empowering way for women to challenge themselves and enhance their surroundings.

The second, Invest In Your Nest, talks about the ins and outs of buying and selling real estate, from cleaning up your credit to negotiating the deal!  She tackles basic home construction through easy to understand explanations of heating/cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, including construction of floors, walls, windows & doors.   A Barbara K! book wouldn't be complete without great DIY Projects for every room in your home from changing out flooring, kitchen renovation, installing new light fixtures, and other tasks that you may never have imagined that you can do yourself!

So, are you itching to rev up your DIY skills?

One lucky winner will win BOTH Barbara K! books.  Good luck!
