Scrappy weekend

Good morning everyone!

Sorry "Shop The House Sunday" wasn't up this weekend.  I was out of town and forgot to put it up before I left!  Save your projects and link up this weekend!

So where was I?

I went to a scrapbooking retreat with 2 friends.  What fun we had!  The retreat was in the darling little Texas town of Montgomery, which is just north of Houston.  I've never made a scrapbook but have always loved looking at all the cute stuff at craft stores.

These ladies are SERIOUS about their scrapbooking!

Of course I felt totally inadequate with my one little plastic tub of stuff.  Am I a scrapbooking convert?  Probably!  This weekend inspired me!

In addition to the retreat, the town was having an antiques fair and festival.

I wanted to follow, but I resisted!

It was a little warm on Saturday.  Poor little guy!

A gift shop in town with all things Texas and a wonderful selection of Texas vino.  Who can resist wine by the name of "Jackass Blush"?!

So have a wonderful week everyone!  I'll be posting this week on the decorating job I'm starting for a friend's master bedroom!

Hi Kendall, I'm finally back to blogging after that BIG (horrendous) move to Georgia AND I'm so glad to see Shop the House Sunday is still going on! I told you I packed a couple of boxes with that in mind and I actually know right where one is in all this chaos I now call home.

Love the pics from the photo shoot, you have been one busy gal while I was away. See you Sunday!
