Well, my neighborhood peeps let me down this morning. I didn't find a darn thing in the trash! Poo!
Anyway, wanted to show you a project I'm working on with a trashy find from a few weeks ago.
Remember these?
4ft tall MDF doors I found on the curb. I grabbed them both!
I'm turning one into a chalkboard per everyone's suggestion!
Here's what it looks like so far...
I am so excited that it's finally warm enough in the afternoons to spray paint!
Okay, so I need your vote on how to finish this project:
Option #1: Paint trim turquoise and change handle to faceted crystal
Option #2: Paint trim chocolate and change handle to rustic finish or oil rubbed bronze
I'm torn, so let me know what you think! I'll post the finished results next Thursday!
So, did you find any trash treasures this week OR did you decorate with something you found in the trash? Show & Tell!

Turquoise, definitely!
Oops! I forgot to put my name by my link. I'm number one on today's list. I'm glad to finally be able to participate!
Turquoise with crystal knobs for sure! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Even though I love turquoise, I think chocolate and bronze is more my style, but of course it very much depends on what you already have in the room.
I chuckled when I read your comment about being warm enough to spray paint! That was the last thing I asked my DH when he walked out the door today - if he thought it would reach the "spray paint temp"! I'm such a spray-paint-a-holic (and I have a line of stuff waiting for a date with the can), the winters make it tough to go without :-)Have a great day!
I would say turquoise!!
Turquoise!!!
Love turquoise!
Turquoise and crystal!
Option 1 = FUN :)
I had to laugh at your picture of the blackboard paint job i the back yard. Wonder if you'll be able to write in the grass now?!
I spray painted a bed I found at Goodwill in our backyard. I still have the paint outlines of the various pieces in our grass.
