Patio makeover tease!

The patio makeover is getting off to a slow start.  It was windy yesterday so I couldn't do any spray painting (well, I could have but then my red brick house would have splashes of turquoise paint....not a good thing!)

I started spray painting this morning and wanted to give you guys a sneak peek!

The bamboo dining set will be TURQUOISE!  I appreciate everyone's comments and turquoise was the response I got most.

How do you like my spray painted grass?!  Oh Mr. FYN is going to love that one!

I like the way it's turning out so far; this is the first coat.  At first I thought I wanted a lacquered look, but I kind of like the way the bamboo shows through the paint.

So, what do you think so far?

Love the color (especially on the grass!). It reminds me of the time I spilled glitter while working on a Christmas craft outside. I had such a sparkly lawn!

Can't wait to see the rest of the furniture, it's going to be gorgeous.

very pretty. Hubby always gets a little irritated when my projects end up on the grass but after a mowing or two it is good as new!!

Ok, now isn't that interesting... it took me a few minutes to get over you not wanting the lacquer look, but then I stood back and really looked at it, and I agree!!! We are so used to the high gloss shine of the lacquer on a chair like that, so it totally throws me off to see it any other way - and that, is a GOOD thing!

Looking good! Love the color - I missed voting but I most certainly would have agreed with the majority!

What FUN !! I love the color ... it's going to be such a bright, cheery patio when you're all done !! What color accent pillows are you going with? Can't wait to see your "new" space ... when's the party?! Thanks for your sweet note about my great room !! I'm glad you like the red sofa and painted chest (wish I could say I painted it myself, but, alas, no way)!! Have a great day, Becca

wow I had never thought about spray painting bamboo. that looks great and as far as the white spots, barely noticeable.
